my dad ernest horton,i did not know my dad because he died in october of 1961,i was only 5 months
old then so i only have photographs of him but i still love and miss him. this photograph was taken
when my dad joined the army aged 18 years old.
Each night we shed a silent tear
As we speak to you in prayer.
To let you know we love you
and just how much we care.
Take our million teardrops
wrap them up in love.
Then ask the wind to carry them
to you in Heaven above.

I had an awful dream last night
Forget it tho i try
I dreamt that i was holding you
And it really made me cry.

The moment that you left,
my heart was torn in two,

I often lie awake at night,
when the world is fast asleep,
and take a walk down memory lane,
with tears upon my cheeks.

hi ernest sorry ive not been in touch for a while ive been in hospital for 7 weeks now but ime doing allright now so i will be poping in more often now so you take care now lots of love anne x
